6th Korean-German Energy Day

Sustainable supply chains for the energy transition

  • Events 21.03.2024
  • Location Berlin

The Korean-German Energy Day is the main public event of the Korean-German Energy Partnership formed between the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action and the Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy in December 2019. This event provides a platform for energy experts from government, industry, research and civil society to exchange views, engage with one another and learn from each other's experiences.

The first part of this year's Energy Day will look at how supply chains for renewable technologies can be diversified to make them more resilient, and it will present and discuss approaches that aim at reducing the need for raw materials and rare earths. The second part of the event will focus on the development of global supply chains for low-carbon hydrogen and the role of government policies in strengthening this market.
