The President's Unit

The president and the vice president together form the scientific board of the institute and decide on its research agenda. They are part of the management board as well. Pursuing own research interests in various research and consulting projects, president and vice president are also directly involved in the research work. A further central field of responsibility affiliated to the department of the scientific board is the research organisation and scientific quality control as well as the monitoring of the PhD programme.
